At ToolFesto, the core architecture of our utility tools is designed to operate entirely client-side. This means all file conversions, computations, and generations execute directly within your web browser. Your input data and files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers for processing.

However, to operate, monitor, and improve the website, we use standard analytics and third-party services which collect specific usage data as outlined below.

2. Information We Collect

  • Personal Data: We do not require user accounts or registration to use our tools, and we do not request any personally identifiable information (PII) for core functionality.
  • Analytics & Usage Data: We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Vercel Analytics to understand how our website and interactive tools are used. These services collect aggregate interaction metrics, browser and device characteristics, navigation paths, and behavioral data to help us identify issues and improve the user experience.
  • Inquiry/Contact Data: If you voluntarily contact us, we collect the details you provide (name, email address, message) solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We integrate the following third-party services to operate and secure our platform:

  • Google Analytics: Used to track and report website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. You can opt-out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity: We partner with Microsoft Clarity to analyze how visitors interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replays.
    • Why & How It Helps Us: Clarity provides visual insights into user interactions (such as scrolls, clicks, dead clicks, and rage clicks). This telemetry helps us diagnose bugs, optimize performance, identify broken elements, and streamline workflows across our tools and games.
    • How It Helps You: By discovering usability friction, broken layouts, or confusing controls in real time, we can resolve issues promptly without requiring you to submit manual bug reports, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience.
    • Things to Consider & Privacy Protections: Clarity includes automated sensitive data masking by default, meaning passwords, form inputs, and sensitive keystrokes are never recorded. Moreover, because ToolFesto tools process documents and calculations strictly client-side in your browser, your local files (PDFs, images, text) are never uploaded or accessible to Microsoft Clarity.
    • Telemetry & Opt-Out: Usage data is captured using first-party and third-party cookies and tracking technologies. To learn more about how Microsoft handles data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can manage telemetry and ad settings via the Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
  • FormSubmit: Our contact form submissions are processed securely through FormSubmit.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Used to protect our servers and contact forms from automated bot attacks. Turnstile collects aggregate non-PII telemetry to verify browser integrity.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We and our third-party partners (like Google and Microsoft) use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and store certain information.

  • Analytics & Behavioral Cookies: Set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to distinguish unique visitors, record interaction metrics (such as heatmaps and scroll depth), and measure site performance without collecting unmasked personal data.
  • Preference Data: We use your browser's local storage to persist user preferences (like your dark/light theme setting).

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our website.

The security of your data is important to us. Because our core tools run client-side, your files and inputs remain on your device and are subject to your operating system's security. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data collected through analytics and contact forms, we cannot guarantee its absolute security over the internet.
